Welcome to the Legion of Sparta. Being part of the Legion of Sparta means being part of a community, this includes the forum which is a primary way of sharing ideas and tales with other members (as well as using teamspeak).




RULES

[1.0] Introduction

[1.1] We hope you enjoy the forum. We encourage you to be active in this forum but To ensure your participation is enjoyable, please take a minute to read these rules.

[1.2] Any posts in breach of forum rules will be deleted, and the poster risks banning.

[2.0] General Posting Guidelines

[2.1] Be polite and enjoy your stay. The forum is here for discussion of Legion of Sparta Games and Topics.

[2.2] Try and stay on-topic within a thread, start a new thread if you move onto a new topic. Excessive off-topic discussion within a topical thread will be removed if it detracts from the discussion.

[2.3] Do not abuse your membership or you may be banned . Please note that bans are effective across ALL Legion of Sparta forums and servers.

[2.4] Type of names not permitted: Vulgar, Swearing, racist, duplicate with existing or anything that
suggests the same will be deleted or changed. Avoid making names that can be confused with an existing
member such as: adder/ adder350, Floyd/ Floydicus, these variants are not permitted. Please use a name
that is original, for example if you want 'adder' and it's used, try addman or space adder.
Remember your user name should be the same as your login, the display name can be different.


[2.5] Political, Religious or Racist Topics , Threads & Posts are not allowed.


[3.0] Forum Rules

[3.1] Multiple Accounts : Each member is permitted one forum account. If you have reason to require more than one account please check with any member of the Admin team. Your forum account name should be your display name. If it is found that they are different, they will be changes by the admins without notification.

[3.2] Flame wars : If you cannot hold a reasoned debate without resorting to Flaming, you are not welcome here.

[3.4] Forum Moderators : Abuse directed at Forum Admin or Moderators will not be tolerated. The penalties will be severe, don't go there.

[3.5] E-mail Address : Sign up with a working e-mail address. This is for security reasons. It is not used for any other purpose.

[3.6] Rules : Repeated disregard for Forum Rules or Moderator warnings will result in accounts being banned.

[3.7] Warez : Links to warez sites or discussion of warez is not permitted. Breach of this rule can lead to legal proceedings against this site, and will not be tolerated. No-CD cracks are against the software licensing agreement and are included in this rule - which is enforced.

[3.8] Vulgarity, Racism, Prejudice: Swearing is not permitted, it only degrades the forum and dilutes the debate. Posts of a sexual nature or of inappropriate images are included in this rule. No form of racism nor any other type of prejudice will be tolerated in the Legion of Sparta.

[3.9] Signature Images Please keep these images to a reasonable size, less than 520x108 pixels and preferably below 200Kb in size, and 4 lines in length for text sigs. This is for the benefit of users on a slow connection and to reduce scrolling.

[3.10] If you wish to make a post about a non-Sparta Server or event please submit the information to an Admin for consideration. Please do not post prior to receiving permission.

 

[3.11] Cheating Discussion of online cheating is not permitted.

[3.12] Disruption, Disruptive or persistently argumentative behaviour will not be tolerated .

[3.13] Bump posts, or posts to increase ones post count will be deleted and you may face your overall
post total being lowered / deducted for such actions, remember Admins are aware of persons
making multiple posts to gain post count.

[3.14] Large Images Please do not include large images directly in a post as it blows out the forum formatting and causes delays for dial-up users. Any large image (greater than 520x600 pixels) should be posted as a URL instead of as an Image, or resized down to 520x600 max pixels. You can use the attach file button to attach large images, or use a system like photobucket.com. This forum will reze oversized images automatically.

[3.15] Warn Levels Each account has a 5 level warning system associated with it. If this level reaches 100% the account will be immediately suspended. The duration of the suspension will be decided by the site Admins. Depending on the severity a permanent ban may be issued. Things like Spamming posts will get you warning points.

[4.0] Board Features

[4.1] Take a moment to try out some of the board features; there is a built-in messaging system for sending messages to another member, which will be delivered to them on their next visit in a pop-up window, and a personal assistant to help you quickly navigate the threads. There are many other useful features, if you have any questions please message any moderator.
